OPEN ARMS Youth Center to Host BBQ

Join San Bernardino’s New At-Risk Drop-In Youth Center for an Open House BBQ

SAN BERNARDINO, California - Open House BBQ to be held at the new at-risk youth assistance center, Open Arms. Those 14-25 years-old are invited on September 25 from 1-4 pm at 323 W. Seventh Street, San Berardino. There will be free food, video games and other exciting activities. Towards the end of the event, a raffle will be held. Please note, masks are required inside the center. If you don’t have one, no need to worry, masks are available.

Hygiene kits, food bags and other resources are always available for youth in need on-site and at all pop-up events. This event is to spread the word that Open Arms is here to help the community. This center is a safe and fun place for the at-risk youth of San Bernardino. Whether someone needs a place to be out of the elements or access to programs that provide skills for a healthy, safe, and successful life, Open Arms promises, “If we can’t help you, we will find someone who can.”

This will be the first of many events held by Open Arms, with the next featuring a talented local artist at a Paint and Sip with mocktails on September 17, and a haunted house event on October 30. More information will be posted at a later date for those events.

Open Arms is reaching to the community so everyone can get to know about their mission to help local youth in need free of charge. Donations of nonperishable food and hygiene products are always welcomed. Unfortunately, the center is not able to accept clothing donations at this time due to space.
