New Youth Center Greets San Bernardino with OPEN ARMS


Get to Know San Bernardino’s New At-Risk Drop-In Youth Center

SAN BERNARDINO, California - With a mission to empower San Bernardino’s at-risk youth, Open Arms is a Family-Assist program providing those in need with the knowledge and skills to live healthy, safe, fulfilling lives. Open Arms is hard at work to make a change in the lives of young struggling individuals in the Victor Valley, San Bernardino and Morongo Basin area. Offering several different resources, support groups, programs and shelters that fit an individual’s needs.   

For youth ages 14-25, Open Arms provides a safe space, nurturing environment to grow, access to hygiene products, food, recreational events, resources, drug prevention classes and community outreach. Open Arms works with planned parenthood and provides drug counseling.

As the community grows, so are needs during these difficult times. Open Arms is aware of the obstacles that the community's youth face, they want to be their safe place. This organization works to reunite the youth with their family and the next steps in their lives.

Donations of nonperishable food and hygiene products are always welcomed. Unfortunately, the center is not able to accept clothing donations at this time due to space.
